Abstract

Hydroxylapatite, as biologically compatible tooth root implant material. Is nonresorbable. Nontoxic and osteogenic.
Hydroxylapatite reduce the resorption of residual ridge, therefore, it relieve the pain and discomfort due to denture placement on resorbed residual ridge.
Hydroxylapatite tooth root implant is considered to be a useful and practical method in preventive prosLhodontics.
